Will insurance pay for my scan?
The Wellness Scan is a procedure you can add onto your regular exam for $39. It is not usually covered by insurance. If the doctor finds you have a medical condition, we will be able to bill your medical insurance for the scan, however it is not covered by typical vision insurance. As with any medical billing, your insurance will follow your plan and you may owe money if it was deemed part of your deductible, or not covered by insurance. |
