What is OCT Imaging? 

This type of imaging visualizes the structures of your eye — from the  front, or anterior segment, to the back, or retina. Your doctor may use  OCT aid in diagnosing disease and managing your ocular health.Type your  paragraph here.

What is the Wellness Scan?

The iWellness scan is an easy-to-read report that displays the thickness  of your retina and your ganglion cell complex as compared to a database  of normal eyes. These metrics along with a high-resolution image and  symmetry analysis help to identify if you are displaying the early signs  of retinal disease or glaucoma. 

Will insurance pay for my scan?

The Wellness Scan is a procedure you can add onto your regular exam for $35. It is not covered by insurance.

If the doctor finds you have a medical concern that can be more accurately  visualized through the OCT, we will be able to bill your medical  insurance for the scan, however it is not covered by typical vision  insurance. As with any medical billing, your insurance will follow your plan and you may owe money if it was deemed part of your deductible, or not covered by insurance.
